Welcome to Abell & Cleland House

Abell & Cleland House is a residential development in the heart of Westminster. The site is currently occupied by vacant government office buildings which are due to be replaced with a scheme designed by Stirling Prize nominated Architects DSDHA to respond to the context of this unique location.

Located moments from the River Thames, between St John's Church in Smith Square and Tate Britain on Millbank, Berkeley's proposals will bring 275 high quality residential units to the area. As part of our approach we will also improve the setting of the site through a range of streetscape improvements including substantial upgrading of the public realm and the installation of new street materials and landscaped public areas.

Working closely with key stakeholders from the community and the local authority, Berkeley is taking a comprehensive approach to the redevelopment of this site.
